If you are looking for a 100% natural cane then our Kooboo Canes are just for you and you can't beat the price.  You get 15 assorted Kooboo Canes that vary in width from 3/16" to about 5/16" and are 24" to 32" long.  Each 15 pack gives you lots of sizes/options for some good old fashion caning sessions.  Whenever possible, we try to make our bundles with the thinnest quantities of Kooboo we can find because they are the ones that sting the most!

Kooboo is basically unpeeled rattan.  It still has the bark/skin on and you can see and feel the nodes.  You should always inspect kooboo canes to be sure the nodes don't need to be sanded a little before use.  There is no finish on these canes, they are 100% natural, we did round both ends of each cane.

We strongly encourage you to make these "single person" canes.  With no finish, they are almost impossible to completely clean and sanitize after use.

If these canes are to be used unfinished and as is, we suggest you give them a good soak in warm water for about an hour prior to use.  You will find that this will moisten the cane and give it some added flexibility.  Also a good soaking will give them some additional weight and stinging power.

Cane Master's Tip:  When you receive your Ugly Sticks, give them a good rinsing off and while they are wet you can shape them to meet your needs and put a book on the shape to hold it in place until it dries.  We left natural bows in the reed as I prefer them that way.  To create a handle you can wrap a good quality colored tape around one end.  Don't be afraid to get these wet, they are 100% natural and LOVE the water, it will also add to the sting.
